I was coming home from a business trip on I-96 west bound between lansing and Detroit. Coming out of a rain storm and I saw ahead of me coming the other way, very peculiar head lights and inner fogs. I said to myself "That would be cool if that was the new mustang". It was. WB GT. This was last June. Twer a mule. The first real one I saw was Orthoguys black GT last October.

Oh well. I hope the firs '06 I see on the road is mine!!

Test driving it. It was a Satin Silver Auto but i had already ordered the car a month prior without ever seeing one in person or obviosuly driving one. Boy was THAT a good decision. This car ROCKS!
Seen one v6 on the lot iin the next town.. But i was browising the internet to find a car and seen it and fell in love

Early Febuary of this year on a Friday. I was in the back of a semi trailer making a delivery. The street I was on is only one block long, there is a Culvers at the end of it. Some lady came out of the Culvers & left it in 1st gear for the whole block. I stuck my head out to see what sounded that nice! Early Saturday Morning I took my kids (twin 16 year old boys) down to the Ford dealer so they could hear one. Of course the dealer didn't have any in stock but, let us drive a 6 cylinder. I asked him to call me when he got a GT in stock. The next Saturday we went down & took one for a ride! I ordered one! 5 months later I gave up on that dealer ever getting me one & bought one off of the lot of another dealer!

The first one I saw on the road was the one I test drove before ordering. The first one I saw that I was'nt driveing was a red V-6 on I-55 just south of Jackson MS. This thread me reminds of....."Where were you when you heard Elvis had died". It's weird how you remember some things.

I went up to Flat Rock to see the plant where my husband was transferred to from Ford. We drove to the plant and saw an '05 pull into a gas station across the street from AAI. Everyone stopped to look at it. This was before the car was released to the public. Then I saw a the factory lot full of them!!! I couldn't believe how awesome they all looked!

Mine was around feb at the RENO NEW CAR SHOW. I saw it, loved it, ordered the same color/package deal. Fact mine was #2 GT in my area, and I still get onlookers when I'm getting fuel for it.

I saw them everywhere wen was back in Texas this May, They even had GT's at the dealership. I took a test drive and I was Hooked. When I got back here to korea I tried to order, and was told I missed the end of year build out date, I was going to have to order an '06 but no Sonic Blue :angry: so I just waited
They had a second round production delivery, My buddy from work saw it come off the truck, now its mine.
ONLY 05 SONIC BLUE GT IN SOUTH KOREA
Same guy from work is waiting for his '06 Tungstin GT, so he will have at least 4 months to gawk at mine before his gets here

lol...The first time I saw an 05 on the road was about two months ago it was a mineral grey v6 on my campus...to date I hae only seen 3 05`s in the area 2 mineral grey v6 and a torch red v6 no GT`S what`s up with that

The first one I saw undisguised on the road was my own (January 2005). I'm sure the bad winter weather had something to do with it (oh, and the complete lack of availability too 
).

I was returning to Spokane from Lewiston Idaho when I saw a white V-6 in Colfax, Wa. Colfax is a small farming town in the middle of the Palouse. I don't know how the Mustang came to be there, but that was the first one I saw. After that I saw quite a few V-6's, but I didn't see any GT's until right after I got mine. Then they seemed to be everywhere.
