This was around Oct. of 04 i think.I was working at the Woodfield mall in Schaumburg, IL and i was out on a quick break. I was out hangin out by my car (my 99 stang at the time) in the parking garage, and i hear a nice exhaust comin from somewhere at the end of the lot. so im lookin and then from the end of the isle i see the 4 lights come rolling on up. it was a sonic blue gt/ dark charcoal int. my jaw just about hit the ground. i think i walked out and follwed the car till i couldnt see it anymore. from that point on i knew that that was going to be my next car.

sad, but mine was the first one I saw on the road where I live. I did see a GT and a V6 on the dealer lot as well when I went to order but they were parked. I finally saw another comming the opposite direction on a parkway about 2 months later and had to take a double look to make sure its what I saw.

Late Oct. '04... It was WB GT w/ opt. 17' wheels ....
I was heading to The Jeep Shop, off of Rt 113 in Chester Springs. They wanted to buy my 2000 Wrangler... my GT was coming in soon and I had to sell my other Jeep for the down payment...
I had to do a double take because I could not believe my eyes... It appeared to be an older guy just cruisin' up Rt 113... saw the car on my way to the shop & on my way back... (so much for being the first in town) -Oh well, my car came in about a week later...

I was heading east bound on IH10 just outside of Houston, TX. I saw a preproduction mule as it was several weeks before the actually started hitting dealer lots. It was a torch red GT.

Mine was the 1st I saw as well. I don't remember seeing another 05 on the streets until my 1st oil change. I didn't see another GT until about 4-5 months after I got mine.

I was in it! I ordered my car from the first batch my dealer got. It took about another month to see one on the road besides my own. You have no idea how great a feeling it is to be GAWKED at everywhere you drive. BTW, I got my car in october of last year... almost a year now!

I was in going home from chicago one sunday morning and saw a truck with a whole bunch of V6's in red and WV blue. It was around january i think.
The first GT i saw was around spring time i saw a black GT with IUP and upgrade wheels. It was going down my street next to the school i go to.

I was on a snowboarding trip in Ruidoso NM with my girlfriend. We just got down from the mountain and were cruising through downtown when I saw one in my rear view. We had to slow down to let him catch up. It was black GT with dark tint and chrome rims. My girl and I just loved it, and that's when I decided I had to have one. It just looked so mean.

It's a car we all enjoy. Not a historical event.

First one I saw on the road, I was driving. My wife was down in Tampa competing in a Quarterhorse show over the holidays last year, and I flew down to spend New Years with her.
When I got to the Hertz counter, I asked if they had any new Mustangs available. The counter guy called back to the turnaround area and asked, and sure enough, one had just come in. They cleaned it up for me, and I drove it for the five days I was down there.
Drove it up to Crystal River to a friend's place and did some fishing in the Gulf, then back to Tampa. Talk about an attention-getter - everyone from our friends at the fairgrounds to the guys in the tollbooths to the clown on the Katana who kept popping wheelies trying to race me was extremely interested in the car! And even tho it was a V6, it drove wonderfully, was comfortable, and fit me like a glove.
That long test-drive convinced me to buy one as soon as I could. Which I did, and never looked back!!
