Where are all the '05 Mustangs?
#1
My wife and I took a trip to Pittsburgh this weekend to visit friends and attend the zoo. We drove I-79 both directions and drove all over Pittsburgh to only see three '05 Mustangs the whole weekend. The cars were a Torch Red V6 Vert, a Black GT Coupe, and Windveil Blue GT Coupe. We thought there would have been plenty more running around by now. Anyone on TMS live in/around Pittsburgh, PA?

All of the other 05s fell into one of the thousands of car eating potholes that plague my home town.
BTW, I went to HS in Erie PA.

I live in the Greentree area of Pittsburgh (a few minutes from downtown). I had mine tucked away on Saturday. I had a craft show, so I drove my beater to haul the stuff.
I was driving around on Sunday for a little bit, but it was around my area, not on the highway.
I have seen a few around, but they are few and far between.
Not trying to pull you guys away from this site, but as far as a local (Pittsburgh) club, check out this site.

There are hiding on the eastern part of PA...
I see atleast 1 V6 on the road a day(different one each time).
Decided to drive around my old neighborhood and saw 3 V6s (1 vert) within 30 secs. of each other.
I've seen more C6s, new Vipers & Ford GTs on the road in my area than Mustang GTs.

I live about an hour and a half South of Pittsburgh, just across the border in Morgantown WV, and I have not seen hardly any at all in this area or when I travel North, and half of the ones I do see are from southern states. Funny though that I should be picking my 05 GT up within the month and I ordered from a dealer in Pittsburgh. And I am fine with not too many in this area seeing as how I have heard other owners say they don't feel quite as special anymore in their area due to overpopulation. It's looking like I'll be almost one of a kind . I have seen only two GT's in my town and one was from S.C.

I live in Shadyside area of Pittsburgh and drive a Legend Lime V6 and seems that there are not that many of them ('05s) in the city area. I occasionally see a 05 there, but I tend to see a lot more of them on the interstates around town. There are quite a few older stangs (late 80's thru 2004's) and quite a few of em are modded. Surprising since the dealers here seem to have a pretty good stock of em when driving past.

My dad and I were both in the Pittsburgh area the weekend before - on our way to Beaver Run race course. I have a mineral grey GT, he has a torch red GT. I saw a lime v6, a mineral grey v6 and a sonic blue GT that weekend in or around Pittsburgh. Beaver Run was great (we were doing a driving school)

Heck I went to a "Flashlight Drag Race" event the other weekend and was only one of two 2005 Mustangs there. The other was PittPerson (Chris) from this board. And he lives in MD now, not Pittsburgh.
