I have read a couple of things on this site, and gotten the same from my dealer:
1)That they will either be built later this year for delivery next year, or
gasp
2)They won't even be built till after next year? WTF!!!
Either way, does anyone, once and for all, have a DEFINATE date when they should be on dealer lots????
Am I the only one waiting for a V6 manual?
Thanks

Sundeep - I have a manual V6 Premium on order for a month now and have been advised by my dealer that Ford will start building the manuals in early Dec. However the IUP is on hold till Dec 20 or so. I haven't been expecting to see it before the first of the year.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping they would start building them by the end of November, we'll see....
We ordered a plain black premium manual v6. In San Diego, at MSRP...no luck with anything lower than that.
The dealer we went to also ordered the same car for us in the automatic as soon he found out the manuals were delayed. He says that one should be in in the next two weeks. We'll take a look, but since we're not getting the v8, I think a manual v6 is the only way to go.

well folks,
guess what, I have had a V6 manual on order since August this year. Nothing fancy (I'd rather have a GT) but the right thing to order for german roads and european gas prices. I came to see some friends in Detroit and had a dealer place the order when the V6 manual wasn't delayed. Since then, I have been waiting for a segmentation or build date. Meanwhile the build start has been postponed to the 04.11.29, but I'm not sure whether this will do some change to the status of my order.
Although I can't wait, it seems as if I need to get used to it. I'll even have 6 weeks of delivery in front of me to get it shipped across the ocean.....and that's after it gets delivered to the Detroit dealer.
My recommendation: Hang in there, watch the commercials, envy anyone who can call one his/her own and convince yourself that by the time you get your V6, "ALL" the hick upps they experience when launching a new vehicle will be gone by then and you get the best Mustang ever.
