You should be able to buy the car at a few hundred over invoice less any rebates. By July or August, there should be rebates available to clear out the '05 and make room for the '06. Maybe $1500 off?

After the initial flurry while supplies are low, what kind of price can one expect to pay in a Metropolitan area with several big Ford dealerships?

Let's say the GT I "built" at Ford Direct has an MSRP of $26,695. What kind of price might I expect a dealer to come down to in, let's say, July or August?

I know all dealers are different, but just as an estimate. I'm worried what I want will still be out of my price range. Thanks.
