Is it safe to drive. I called and have an apt. with service, but can I still drive it for now?

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem? :scratch:

I have it on my car, though not always (maybe one in 10 times). I took it in, but they could not reproduce the problem. I've seen it referred to as a "noisy front end" problem. There is still no TSB about it.

isnt that the sturt mount problem that was talked about? either way, i have it, and it is embarassing when it does it in a crowded parkin lot.

That's the upper strut bearing mounts. Ford seems to be aware of the problem, and will fix it for you.

It's not a real safety issue (I don't think)

My Mustang (02) had the same problem but thats after 2-3 years of ownership! It won't affect driveability.
