Does anyone know the weight of the stock 17" Bullit wheels? How about the optional 17" wheels.

Also - when going to an 18" wheel - how much is "to much" when it comes to weight. I really like the Ford Racing F500 wheel. If they became available for the 2005 Mustang GT - I'd consider purchasing a set - but they are listed at 30 lbs. - will that slow me down - or is that the kind of weight to expect from an 18" wheel (except for the ones that will break your bank account).

Thanks!!

Good luck trying to get an answer. I've asked a couple times, and I've seen other threads with people asking. Dosn't seem to hard to find out. But nobody seems to have an answer. My reason to find out is this. I weigh 280 lbs. I need to find ways to shed some weight on the car just so my car can keep up with the rest of you. I see wheels around the 25 lb range. If the stock wheels are around 35 lbs, I could right there reduce my total weight by 40 lbs. After I rid some weight on the car, I can then go after my own weight. :bang:

I would say approximately 25 lbs for bullitt wheels alone. When I shipped mine the wheel and box was about 26 lbs each.
