Is there anyway to find out the offset of the wheels?? It looks to me like the standard wheel is the SVT Bullitt. However, when I put a 2005 Mustang into the Tire Racks wheel search, it does not pull up the Bullitt wheel. The reason I am asking is that I would like to replace the standard wheel with the chromed Bullitt wheel which has an offset of +30mm.

Thanks!

That wheel won't fit the '05. There should be chrome bullitts made for the '05 fairly soon, I am sure. The offset on the '05 GT is 45mm. The bolt pattern is the same as the '04 and previous. Only the offset is different.

No it should fit 25mm=1 inch so 15mm is less it will push the wheel toward the outside a little but the 05 looks like it has plenty of clearance

Can you confirm it is a 45mm offset? I know it was on previous models. Considering ROUSH claims they are using a 19" rim it will be interesting to see tire sizes that do fit. Personally, I want either 18's or 19's with 295's in the back and 265's in the front.

I can't confirm that. I read that on this forum though from a very reliable source. I can't remember who, but I wrote it down in a notebook that I keep '05 Mustang info in. So, if I wrote it down, at the time I must have thought it to be fact. That's a pretty big difference from a 30mm offset. I understand it's less than in inch, but at this time we don't know how much room we have to play with inside the wheel wells.

Ya, I will be waiting until I get my car so I can find out what size "shoes" will fit on my pony.

Check this out:

FORD MUSTANG 2005 FACTORY WHEELS SHELBY STYLE 16"

In the auction, he mentions that they are 16x7, 5 lug, 4 1/2" bolt pattern, with a 39mm offset, Ford part number 4R33-1007-BA.

It doesn't tell us anything about the GT, but it shows us what the V6 is.
