I would do that too, would also be pissed if my car was on display...don't know what's better, leaving it out side with the elements and birds or inside with the customers and their finger prints and "touchy-feely" syndrom

I'd sit at the dealership all day.. paintball gun in hand (sure.. i don't own one, but if my car was in there.. HECKS yes I'd have one) just waiting for some grubby lil kid to wipe his boogers on MY car!!
