What's the quickest delivery of an order GT?

I'am from Indiana and I received mine pretty quick, and two other guys who ordered the week before me also received theres the same time I did in fact the vin # of the 3 cars were in order. I have seen a few GT's at most of the dealerships here in northeastern Ind.

I just checked and my build week has been moved up 1 week to 2/28. Figuring 3 weeks for delivery, that puts me right at 8 weeks. Of course, it still has to show up in order for that to be confirmed...

I ordered mine on Saturday, December 4. Dealer sent order in on Monday, December 6. Got VIN 15 days later (12/12/20), Mustang built 21 days later (01/10/05), in my garage 14 days later (01/24/05) = total from date dealer ordered to my garage - 7 weeks + 1 day (50 days)
Seemed like 6 months! Now, I have 1100 miles and one he## of a lot of smiles

On February 15, I ordered a Mutsng GT convertible, Manual, Torch Red, Dark Charcoal interior, IUP, side airbags, wheel upgrade, active security system, locking wheels, and the convertible boot. This is the first time I have ever ordered a new car, so I really don't know what kind of tricks to look out for. My dealer has sent me a confirmation of the order dated 2/15. He told me his next "pull date" was in 2-3 weeks after the order. He told me it should be in mid to late May. A few questions:
1. Is there still a delay on the IUP?
2. Is there any way to make sure that another order -- say someone who is paying more than I am -- doesn't get put in front of mine?
3. Is there any continuing paperwork that i should be receiving or asking for?

Ordered 9/23 Build Date 11/24 Delivery 12/2
Got mine in about 9 weeks. I was super jealous of people getting thier within 6 weeks, but defintely feel for those who are well past the 16 week mark.
