Thats what I was wondering. Thanks!

BTW, they had at least seven "K.I.T.T." cars made. Each was capable of a different stunt that you saw on the show. I don't know who did the lights on the voice box but the cars were partially designed and made by a mechanic that lives near me.

In the state of Florida, they only inspect your vehicle when you first register it in the state...and by "inspect," I mean they come out of the office, look at it for three seconds, and hand you your plate. It's incredibly lax in this state. Now, in California or New York, you'd probably have a much harder time.

Sounds like the inspection is even tougher in S. Florida then up here in Pensacola, Fl. where I live. When I got my license about 8 months ago we went to get the plate and all we had to do was give some personal info (insurance, etc) and they gave me a plate. They never even asked to see my mustang, I didn't have the plate yet so I didn't have the car with me anyway.

Well the way I understand it (grew up in Ft. Lauderdale) They changed the rules a few years back that you only need inspections if the car is something like 8 years or older...or maybe that was for emmisions. either way it was much easier to get my car inspected in FL than in NY. But now I am in MA(havent yet registered) and from what I understand, it is pretty easy.
