Ok, This is prolly in another topic somewhere...but i figured id give it a shot. Has anyone gotten an official order in? or is everyone doing deposits...just wondering whats going on with your local friendly ford dealer

Placing a deposit in what sense? if your saying here is 500 dollars for a spot to order a mustang when they become available...then no.

I was just wondering if anyone has ordered the car like you would say...a taurus or anything else that is currently out

 

Yes, Quite a few people have ordered 2005 Mustangs. I myself have the vin number of my new Mustang and the scheduled build date.

 

Question Klous: Where's the proof of your VIN. Not that I want to see it, but did someone call you with it? Fax it to you? Can you help explain why my local Ford dealer can't give ME a VIN number?

 

B) If you've ordered should have been given an order number.
Dealer can punch in your order number and provide you with a copy of the DORA which has vin# and other order data.

 

I have my VIN also. But no scheduled build date, as of yet.

 

Wait...I have a scheduled build date of Sept. 20, but no VIN #.......I'm going to call 'Randy' (if that is his real name) at the dealership right now.

 

A question for people who have ordered and have gotten there VIN number:

How long after placing your order did you get your VIN number?

Ordered on 5/25......Recieved Vin # on 6/16.
