I was waiting for this, but no one has done it, so i made it myself. You know they are going to make it. (Not advocating it, just showing it.)

I got the premium, non IUP, and it's great. I've gotten used to the lack of gadgets that I missed at first: outside temp, compass, mpg, range, all that stuff. I do wish I had oil pressure and charge gauges, though.

When I started looking into this car, I wanted IUP. Local dealer had one without it, and guess what, no looking back. I love it.
Outside temp and Compass are not featues of the IUP

Im not sure what Range is.

Personally, I do not like the brushed aluminum. Everything else is ok. I think the gauge light do hicky is just a gimmik to get female buyers.

My interior upgrade package is my fiance in the passanger seat.

More than 70% of 2005 Mustangs have been ordered with IUP, so just about everyone prefers IUP over non-IUP.

I've seen both IUP and Non-IUP in person and the Non-IUP looks fugly no matter what combination you use. I've owned enough bland-want-to-smash-my-head-into-the-dash-because-of-it cars. It's time for me to buy a car with a classy interior and I don't cringe at everytime I get in the car.

And this is why there is chocolate and vanilla...

After driving both a non-IUP and IUP Mustang, I personally will get one with IUP.

I just wanna know whats the big deal about the IUP packages? Who cares?
Boy, this topic just screams "let's start an argument".

Personally I can't stand the looks without the IUP. That's like taking foreplay out of sex. Sure some people can do without it but most prefer it.

I personally would go with the IUP also, especially with Dark Charcoal interior. I would also go with the IUP lite. But if i had the fever and the money for the Mustang I dont think i would wait 6 months for it. ( It that is a true time period).
But there again im going to wait a year for the SVT cobra.

Definitely IUP. I am SO glad I got it. The leather wrapped steering wheel is so comfortable and looks sharp with the satin aluminum spokes. The six gauges rock! And the message center and my color are cool even if they aren't necessities.
