I can feel it. with many of you taking ur deliveries today mines set to come. i ordered jan 22 and from galpin ford who i know has huge allocation. my sales guy "couldnt guarantee" xplan when i ordered because of the situation a few months ago. I know he'll try to work it in if he can because i've purchased cars from him before. If he can't though, i trust no one.
even though i've bought cars from him a salesmans a salesman. whats the best way to reject the idea of paying invoice and working the price down? Whats the best way to go about him "working the numbers" on my trade in? GT, IUP, shaker 500, auto trans...

The problem still with the GTs are the demand is more then the supply. If the dealership values you as a customer then they should honor some sort of discount even if its not the so-called X plan. If your not happy with the deal tell em you will take your business elsewear. There will be some point down the line when there will be more GTs on the lots then people wanting them and thats when you will get your best deal. Its a no brainer... Good luck

I got 200 under invoice by emailing every dealer in the area for a price request. While I believe I got lucky on this, I did have several other offers for 1000 over invoice.
