What is your most memorable moment? Must have a picture
I've had several very memorable (and cool) moments with my car since I signed for it on January 30th 2006. I have 5 shots below of the few moments that really stand out in my mind.
Photo #1.
October 14th 2007, a afriend of mine, who runs the parts department of a Lincoln/Mercury store, holds a show on the local Naval Air Base here. He calls and asks, how many Mustangs can we get at the show? Out of 80 spots, over 40 were Mustangs!! The shot below is of the 17 or so, who waited until the show as over to arrainge the cars to have the fleet of A-10s in the backround. That was a fun day (we got a tour of the hanger where they service the planes. What an amazing airplane).

When I bought my car, I figured I would take it to a few shows and have fun, but not drive it as much as I have
. Well, my friends all decide to do a day of crusing and photos down in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Its close for all of us to get to. Started with breakfast, then a trip to the lighthouse for pics (see below), and then dinner. On the way to the lighthouse, we stopped in a CVS. 13 Mustangs in the little lot. That stop turned into the start of a car show CVS now holds for us exclusively (they got busy when we stopped in, as people looked at the cars then went in to buy stuff
). The lighthouse shots were great.

The start of the 2008 year. My good friend was heading out to Barrett-Jackson, to see his 1970 Shelby GT500 Coupe. A concourse car, with MCA pedigree, the car was STUNNING. He asked if I wanted to go (are you kidding, HECK YEAH
). I went with him and 2 other of his friends joined us. I though of a good way to send him off to Arizona was a group lunch at Red Robin Burgers. So, in early January, we got 14 cars in the shot (his 2 are the bookends, a PJ and a Grabber GT made up like a Twister Special, the original Twister, with original decals). This shot came out well. Just VERY COLD in January in Pennsylvania. And B-J Scottsdale was a BLAST!!

I insure my vehicle with my company who does it, as "pleasure" and have a 8,500 mile limit per year. So I had to make sure when I signed up for the MCA InterNationals held at Ford Of Canada Headquarters this past August, that I would have enough left for the rest of the year. I gotta tell ya, that was one of the MOST FUN things I have ever done. I got to see Niagra Falls, the CN Tower in Toronto, and 427+ Mustangs in the parking lot of Ford Canada. I was nervous as heck, as it was my 1st "National MCA Show" which is judged on a point system, with emphasis on cleanliness. After 14+ hours detailing the car over the span of 3 days, and a 15 minute downpour on the show
, I lucked out and snagged 1st place in Modified Excluding Undercarriage. The shot I took below, was after the judging on Saturday, in front of the corporate sign. I wasn't the only one taking this shot. Many cars were lined up to do it, after I got done. The drive up (9 cars in tow) and back (total of 15+ hours combined) was a blast. I got more photos, but these were some of the highlights.

good stuff Jeff. I was at the naval base show.. before I had the GT ... With my GN.. I've know Ray for 25 years..
and..... why don't you look into another insurance company. I have Grundy and my car is also insured as a pleasure car.. no mileage limitation... and I pay $260 a year for $25000 of coverage.. Look into them..

Bill those are awesome pics, especially the first one. Your son, Chris? right, has grown so much since then. That is a very cool pic. I wish I had thought to get one like that with my daughters.
BTW congrats on 8,000 posts Bill. You the man!!!

Jeff, obviously you did not read what I wrote. I pay $240 a year for 25k replacement value full tort, no deductions, NO MILEAGE restriction..
Wow, I can't wait to get a little older so my insurance rates drop. I pay close to a whopping $3600 a year for full coverage, full tort. Oh, the agony us youngsters go through to drive these awesome cars!
thats crazy..... when ya get older you can buy another car and use the stang for pleasure and pay $240 a year thru a classic insurer.... Hell, I don't pay that for THREE cars .. in Philly!
My most memorable moment was this one:

It was the delivery of my stang in the evening of 21st of December last year. It was the last car the garage delivered in 2007 and it came right for Christmas. Since I live in Switzerland I had to wait since May 2007 for my Stang.

The most memorable moment was my first track day, at Lime Rock Park in Nov 2007. The second most memorable moment was my second track day, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Aug 2008. The NHMS pictures are better than the LRP pictures so here you go!
