What would you do first?

Okay, let's say my dad puts $500 in my Christmas stocking. What modification(s) would you do first, if you were going to spend a grand or so?
On a related note, can anyone recommend a shop to work on '05 Mustangs here in Massachusetts, northwest of Boston. Say around Lowell or Nashua, NH?

Tough one. I like the car so much as is, I would almost hate to mess with it at all.
Maybe stripes. When I get my black one I am thinking of gold stripes like I had on my '69.

Sequential tail lites, Concept Hood, and engine cover. Thats the most disapointing thing about my car. The interior is so nice then you pop the hood and nothing, nada, zippy.

There's alot that I would do with the '05. Flowmaster exhaust would probably be the first, next would be wider rims and tires.
After that, I'd put a suspension in. A nice suspension upgrade on any car will make it more fun to drive, even with no engine mods. Sometimes, it makes it feel faster.
Then after that, save up money for some headers and a supercharger kit. Don't mess with cold-air induction and funky filters and stuff like that. Hey, if you're gonna get wet, you might as well go swimming!

How much you guys think it'll cost to get a different hood, including paint?
