What typical updates might we expect for 2006?
I'm a big fan of the new Stang, but am curious about what I might expect Ford to do for 2006 to slightly 'one-up' the 2005 model?
I know for the most part its just the rumormill churning out its usual lot, but I am curious as to what we might expect?
Thanks for your time,

Just my opinion, but I expect nothing. Maybe a couple of minor color changes, otherwise, the '06 will be exactly like the '05. "18 wheels would be nice, and so would an aluminum plenum cover like on the pre-production models, but I aint holdin my breath. Hopefully, they will be easier to obtain, too.

Boy are you depressing! Jus' kiddin!
I would think Ford would want to keep the momentum going with additional option packages and the like.
But just an additional color or two, and wheels.
Anyone else care to share???
i know, an f'ed up allocation system, 20+ week wait, no price protection for those of us they are about to F over because they couldn't fill our order and throw in a side of shady dealers who lack communication skills--

Yeah, been hearing about all the long waits most buyers have been dealing with, but hopefully since the discontinuation of the Thunderbird, and an increase Mustang production as a result, those waits will hopefully taper down some.
As far as shady dealers go, I'm holding off for another year or two till the feeding frenzy has had a chance to run its course (plus give me some time to save for that down payment). Hopefully things will be much better overall by that time (maybe gas will be under $2 bucks again-hopefully).

Why would Ford put out more R&D money when they have a mega-hit on their hands? As it is they are having a hard time keeping up without uber complex options on the car. I doubt you will ever see a factory option supercharger on the Mustang. Ford is pretty proud of the pony power packed into the stock engine. If you want more juice go Cobra.

Or just go buy a supercharger and put it on your 06. You know it would be cheaper that way anyhow. You can bet there won't be any changes to this car except some colors and the wheels.
