What is this thing?

Sorry I'm not much of a mechanic - this was laying loose tucked in the drivers side, about in the middle - under the hood of the car. Noticed it laying there when I went to add window wash fluid today. Black rubbery tube about a foot and a half long - see pics- I can't tell where it goes.

That looks like the piece of hose that runs to the two washer jets in the hood.

Thats def what it looks like...
Side story: My neighbor actually ran his through his **** firewall and through the passenger AC vent in his Tacoma and refilled the reservoir with vodka. Ridiculous, but pretty funny...

Does your windshield washer fluid spray on your windows?

No. I filled the reservoir up and tried sticking that thing back on under the nozzles but it still doesn't work. Should I have not stuck it back on- was in a hurry didn't try both ways...

There is a hose that runs from the reservoir to the piece you were holding. You need to connect the hose to the "t" end of what you were holding
