What size ratchets for Header removal?

I plan on changing my headers tomorow for the mac shorties. What tools will I need for the install? What size ratchets will I need?

Not sure about the bolts to the manifold, but the studs are 5mm on the GT. I'd go out and test the sockets you have before getting started. You can reach the top ones from the engine bay.

Attached are the PDFs for a V6. There's also a 5 part write up on Kooks install and Dynatech install in my gallery (Misc folder, 2nd page) if you want them. Not sure if they'd help with a V6 though. Link to my gallery is in my sig. Good luck!!

uh if you don't have a basic tool set don't even bother

a person with basic mechanical concepts would just reach down and check it. I hope you don't ask something complicated like how to use a torque wrench (that you are supposed to be using)




I feel more stupider after reading this thread
