What is really leather in an '08 premium interior?
I've heard that the seating area on the front seats, the steering wheel, and the shifter boot are the only leather pieces in the interior.
Everything else is vinyl.
Others have said the door panel inserts are leather as are the rear seats.
So what is the right answer?

The steering wheel, and the butt and back sections of the front seats are leather. The rear seat is 100% vinyl, as is the sides/back of the front seats. The door inserts are vinyl. Not sure about the shift boot.
"PW": Both both of these 1:18 scale Auto Art diecast Mustangs are from diecastmustangs.com. They have a very large collection by many different companies and their stock is always changing with updates. We were originally going to buy a Windveil Blue GT until the white California Special was released by Ford summer 2006, then we fell in love and got it from our dealer instead!

Thanks everyone.
Auto Art does make some nice stuff.
PW,
Maisto is making a Roush 2010.

The detail is not like an Auto Art but not as expensive either.

Off topic, but here is a link to some of Autoart's recent releases of Mustangs:

I also believe that the material used to cover the dash and centre console armrest are also vinyl.

i replaced my seat covers with oem a few yrs ago. the headrests are also vinyl. theres not much leather in oem leather interiors. we checked the cover out pretty good installing them. if it was all leather, the seat covers would have cost $1,500 and not $300.
on a side note, you can get a real nice leather armrest or shift boot here
