An OASIS report will tell the build date of a vehicle AFTER it has been built.
Dealers use this report to find build date, engine code, trans code, any open
recalls etc. If you give me a vin # I can run it for you. Hope this helps.

u can get all manufacturing info on your specific car with a simple 1-800 phone call...its awesome. i called it every day.

 

Oasis will also give you the miles on the car when sold, warranty start date, extended service plan information and most importantly recall and repair history. This is a vital tool when buying a used vehicle. Not so valuable at this point, but some of us have been getting them now because it provides verified build date. I just like to know all this stuff on my cars.

 

I have a copy of my oasis report and have a question. It shows that I have the engine calibration code of:5zf2g80a. Does anyone know what your codes are. Just curious if they are updating codes at the factory prior to shipping. My car is stuck "waiting for rail car" Oh well.
