What mileage are you getting?
I drove my GT 300 miles on I-77/I-70 back from Ohio last week. Got 24.7, which kind of suprised me because although I mostly drove 70-75 MPH I did manage to hit a straight area with very light traffic and got it up to 120 for a mile or two. It seems to shift from fourth to fifth at 120.
I drove back from Ohio last week, 300 miles on I-77/I-70. I have about 17000 miles on the car. Mileage checked in at 24.7 MPG. That is just a tad more than I usually get on the road. It kind of suprised me because although I mostly drove 70-75 MPH I did hit a straight area with very light traffic and got it up to 120 before I had to get off it. It seems to shift from 4th to 5th at about 120.

I only get decent mileage on the interstate. around 270 miles a tank- I can go to Atlanta and back on a tank.
On the highway- its crappy I drive like 160 miles a week back and forth to work, and it takes a tank to do it- but then again I like to gun it at green lights and generally act like a fool.

Our overall average has increased recently..
50% highway @ 75mph and 50% city + 4 miles dirt every day is now averaging out to 26 mpg
This is on an '06 v6 with a manual tranny at 18k miles..

I reset my MPG trip settings before a trip up the interstate in my 06 GT auto trans vert.
Going 70-80 I got 25.5 MPG on the trip up.
I lowered the top for the trip home at the same speeds the MPG dropped to 24.5 MPG.
Around town I love working the loud pedal too much and can't get over 18 MPG.

I have averaged around 20mpg since taking delivery of the car. I drive 50/50 highway/city at off peak times. I have seen as high as 25mpg on the highway and can easily get over 300 miles in that situation.
In my 06 V6 right now I am getting 23.3 per gallon. This is with 80% in town driving.
I have 5300 miles on it right now.
Funny thing this past week I did alot of just cruising all around town and each day my milage went up one tenth each day of cruising

drove to las vegas last weekend. there was about an hour of bumper-to-bumper traffic each way, and the whole trip was about 5hrs each way. when it wasn crawling along i was flooring it or cruisin at ~100mph.
i got 20.8mpg there, and 20.75mpg back...very consistent results, especially considering my aggressive tune, 4.30 gears, and not-so-gentle driving style. i was very impressed with my 305.0 miles on my tank the way back!!!
i usually get ~14mpg if all in the city
