The auction is for advertising on the car. Apparantely it's going to be a show car from Mustang F/X (whoever that is). The car itself is not for sale.

Sounds like someone will be paying his listing fee to ebay and getting nothing in return.
But if someone does bid on it, he just made himself an easy 30k. Heck, I'd do it, then I'd take the winning bid amount and buy myself another 'Stang.
 Hmmm... maybe he's not so stupid afterall.

We'll see... like I said, it looks like he'll be paying his listing fee and getting nothing in return.
That said, I've seen business waste their marketing budget on all kinds of wacky stuff. I would think that if it was worth that much, he'd list his own business, or the place supplying the parts for the mods, as the advertisement.
I can see it now, a business puts their name on the back of the car, and the guy goes and drives like an A hole and/or gets a DUI.

On the news yesterday there was a guy on Ebay selling advertisement space on his Forehead!! So, I guess anything is possible!

It would be funny if it's a company like Viagra that wins the bid, I don't know about you, but you couldn't pay me a lot more than that to put a big Viagra sticker on the windshield.

At least the forehead ideas is unique! Hat's off to that guy... lol.

However, this is just sad. Advertising on busses and cars (taxi cabs) is nothing new. Any business stupid enough to pay-off the guys Mustang and e-bay listing fee deserves what they will get: Nothing.

I mean, for 70 grand a business could buy the car and hire a driver. Then at least they'd be able to advertise on the doors, hood and quarterpanels. And it would be their car.
