I'm trying to choose between a coupe and a convertible but I want to know what the convertible top colors are for the 05. I like the classic style of the 60's with the white tops. I don't really care for the parchment color tops.

Is there any info on top colors?
thanks

Yes, check the September version of the order guide on the timeline page. It shows which top colors are available with which body and interior colors. Only black and parchment are available, no white.

For future reference you can find it on the 2005 Mustang Timeline page under "Order Guides", "USA", "9/1/04 version". For now you can use this link.

Look at the "Color & Trim Availability" page. Convertible information is in the bottom half.

You're welcome.

There's a lot of information here; it's a great site. The timeline page is a good one to look over. Lots of pictures and information there.

White fabric convert tops on Mustangs get real dirty for some reason even when just sitting outside for a day... Ford was smart to keep them hidden from public viewing (hopefully forever and ever, lol...)

If they were vinyl, at least for white, the tops wouldn't be so hard to clean

I had white tops they were all vinyl and looked great. Had one on my 64.5 stang, my new 83 stang, 86 GT and 91 stang. They looked great if you kept your car clean. I have never seen a cloth white top. But I think white tops look good with the right color combinations. There is a market for them, and yes ford is being stupid by not offering white tops! There business is to sell cars, and some buyers want WHITE!
