When I got my Grand Am back in 94' My agent was giving me prices and then he got to the question of the color and when I told him it was red he stated that the quote was higher. When I asked why he stated that the rate was higher for red because of statistics (sp) red cars have more accidents. Whether it be because there are more red on the road, hence more accidents with red or that red is more of a racing color I do not know, but he stated that if it was any other color the rate would have been cheaper.
