what color for cs
hey guys i have a really weird question, ive finally set my heart on getting a gtcs i just love the two tone inside and the front end look it really has a mean look to it the only problem is i want it in torch red which is n/a why is this ??? if im custom ordering a car shoudlent i be able to get any color i want?? for extra money would a dealer do it or is it just not an option i dont understand if its being painted at a factory why it cant be any color. in any fact if that is not possible the choice is between vista blue or black ..i love the black the only problem is every time i see a black car its always dirty every mark scratch ect..shows up so easy on black and it has to be washed allmost every other day to really be kept up were as blue hides it much better..any help guys
Just buy a loaded torch red GT with GT appeance package, PTP, IUP, and NAV, then change GT/CS body parts. Too bad they don't offer the Chamois PTP in a Red GT with PTP, similar to the red ICAP.
I usually hate white cars, but I think the GT/CS looks great in white. Any color GT/CS looks great. But yeah, you could always do what was said above, and make your own GT/CS. Be glad good 'ol Henry isn't still around. Then you could have any color you wanted, so long as it was black.
I think the redfire verts with black/chamios PTP looks awesome.

I'd go with vista blue as my first choice, and redfire as my second! Good luck!
Geez, ain't nobady really answered his first question. If the book sez you cain't order it that way, some smuck at ford decided that 's the way it would be. Remember when you were three and your parents said "Because we said so, that's why!"
I know it is to "Keep Costs Down" but I agree, if you want a GT/CS in a certain color, Ford should let you order it and Come from the factory that way. Same with Spoiler if you wanted the GT500 Spoiler or Int, etc, etc.
If they have the parts, they are on the assembly line, it shouldnt matter...
Send "THIS" front end to car XX, it isnt that hard...

I feel the exact same way, I love the white CS, really shows off the added body parts and stripes that are invisible on black. As much as I hate scoops, they really pop on white as well, and the polished bullitts look super classy on them. Besides that, the car stays cool and swirl marks are never an issue. If my pops didn't have a white GT, I would of gone with it. And I've had a dozen black cars, the Alloy was my 'black' compromise trying to keep some semblance of sanity.
It wouldn't be special if you could get it in every color. For all manufacturers, the SE's whether from Jaguar or Scion, Nissan or Ford are always limited in color choice.
