My dealer made me aware of other cars they had come in, but I sucked up and waited and after I saw the Vista on this car I was glad I did not get any other color. So IMO I would get exactly what you want. All the colors look fantastic on this car but the one you want always looks best. Accept nothing but exactly what you want. Thats my motto

 

You'll get the Silver after driving it I'm sure. If you can hold out though get the Blue. This is coming from a Satin Silver owner. I love my car but had I known Vista Blue was going to be the color it is I would have waited!

I'd say stick with the blue because it's new for 06 . Plus the blue is really nice with white stripes.

 

I would get the silver because patience always pays off, but laziness always pays off NOW.

 

Well I did it bought the silver one. Once I started driving it I enjoyed driving again so I took it. I like the silver/red combo a lot more in person than I did in the pics I saw. PLus every night I went to bed I would walk into my room and see the roush louvers I already got begging to be put on a car. Ill post pics of it later when I can. I will not regret it.

 

Go with your gut instinct. Both would look great, I haven't seen a bad color combo on a new Mustang. I ended up getting a color I hadn't considered: Torch Red. My immediate reaction was a bright red GT? "Heck Yeah!" It just looked "right".

My original idea was something more subdued: Gray, Silver or Legend Lime. But if the Silver doesn't smack you across the face as being "IT" then go with your original choice.

 

Blue.always go with your first choice...

Heeeeeelllllll no. My first choice was, heh... silver (ironic), but when I saw red on the street, I started to think twice. Then when I saw a redfire on a lot, I couldn't deny it any longer...red has always been my favorite color...

 

 

Cant go wrong with the Silver and Red. IMO thats one of the best combos (second to mineral grey and black though )

-you ordered a vista 06 and they got in a 05/06 silver?
-if silver is 05,did you pay less?
-did they charge you extra for icap interior?

rant:

-if i put in a down payment and ordered a vista and they brought in a silver,and they told me i would have to wait 3 more months for a vista to come in,i would tell them they somehow make that worth my while (less money) or they can talk to my lawyer...

 

I voted for Vista Blue, but that's cause I like and have dark charcoal.
But it is your choice and only you can make it.
