1978 Mustang II Ghia -- still have her and still drive her. Had her since '79. Has over 225,000 miles on her. V-8 and I wouldn't trade her for nothing. But I have to admit, I just can't quit driving my new '05 GT!! Go Mustangs!!

Liz, any pics of your '78? I'd be interested in seeing them if you do. My first was a '78 Cobra II. I really enjoyed the car. Wouldn't snap your neck or anything, but it sure was fun.
97 grand prix gtp. Lots of fun to drive. But not as fun as the new stang. I sold it for about 6 grand. Put 4 down on the stang, 2 for taxes. Man am I glad I did it. But I also had to drive a 72 vw bus for 4 months, when it was supposed to be less than two months. But when it showed up, all was forgotten about the wait. Good luck to all those still waiting. Was at mcmahon ford today in st. louis, and they have all sorts of gt's in house now. convertibles, hard tops, your choice. I was pulling out and saw the truck unloading another gt vert right then. So they have at least 4-5 I would say. Good luck to any that need one. I know they were marking them up pretty good. Maybe now that they have more than one at a time, they wont be that bad. Super service mgr tho. Orders parts, before ever looking at car. Went in to have tsb repair done, after he ordered parts just speaking to me on phone. Asks me if I am having a problem with gas tank. I told him sometimes. He said to the service writer, order him a tank too. So I highly recommend there service dept. But I dont know how nice he will be on mods. First thing he told me, was dont flash the computer. Void warranty. So I am being careful at what mods I am doing. good luck
1981 Ford F100. 223000 miles and still running strong. I've had it for going on 12 years and will probably have it for at least another 12 years.
I love that truck. Even if it DOES need paint work. And some body work (you have to love the rust prevention Ford used in the early '80s...... NOT!) Maybe a a 4 speed auto to replace the C6. And I think a 392 short block would be a GREAT upgrade on the current 351W Fuel injection would sure be nice too....
LORD!!! This is going to be expensive between the car and the truck now that I can actually take the truck off the road for major work...
