I say forget this high tech crap, if you want fancy shmancy stuff, buy a lincoln or a caddy! I want a Mustang that has the bare needs. Manual windows, locks and steering. No radio, or A/C, no back seat. cloth seat's (bucket).

Basically, I want a Cobra R, but not with the 50K price tag, I want a LX V-8 again!

Tire pressure regulator.
Electric/Gas Hybrid option.
Diesel option.
6 speed option.
Push button all wheel drive option.
Shaved door handles, with remote start and entry.

That should do it.
1. who needs a TPR when you can buy a $.50 tire pressure stick thingy at auto zone.
2. This is a Mustang were talking about, not a honda........
3. See above.
4. As long as its as strong as the T-56 thats in the 03-04 Cobra's
5. No. Mustang= RWD ONLY.
6. No.

----------------------

1. Because a $.50 tire pressure stick won't actually regulate your tire pressure. I'm not just talking about monitoring, I'm talking about an active system that will inflate/deflate the tires based on settings that you program yourself.
2. A V-8 electric hybrid will give you better 0-60 1/8, and 1/4 mile times because of its instant torque ability, add to that the additional fuel milage, and its a winning combination.
3. Honda's have a diesel option? That's news to me.
5. Yes. Hence the reason I said 'Push button 4 wheel drive'. You only activate it when you need it. For us people in cold climates this would be a blessing.
6. Yes. My choice, my option. Live with it!

Driver seat memory! My wife's 5' 2" and I'm 6' 4"... it's always a pain having to sit sideways until the seat is back far enough to get my legs in! Guess I'll have to be the only driver of the Mustang until they come out with an aftermarket kit!!

Sorry to drag this one out of the grave, but I know I saw taillight frames somewhere but the searches I have been doing have not pulled them up again. Anyone know who sells any?

That and maybe we can see what new items people want to add to this thread. Two for one for me.

Edit: Ok I found this one http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...ht%20cover&st=0

These are the ones that were coming off ebay though and I know we had found a vendor that sold them at one time. What happened to our vendor listings we used to have? I was looking for those tonight as well.

I want to see some 10.5" wide rims. I want 315's dangit! I guess they're going to make me settle for 18x10 soon. I guess I can still fit 305 nittos.

Complete interior lights to change colors via MyColor and not just the gauges.

Key fob with built-in key.

A bare-bones GT - truely just the basics for those folks that want just power.
Or:
1. Power pax seat
2. Steering column that telescopes in/out.
3. Inside trunk release
4. Remove license plate 'indent' from V6 fascia
5. Duals for the V6
6. Steering wheel mounted controls for audio.
7. More exterior colors.
8. More color combos for interior.
9. Heated seats (focus has them!)
10. Why wait until 2009 for the Lincoln version. By then the design will be stale.
11. A real coupe - call the present coupe a fastback.
12. Really nice rims for the V6.
Oh - and never say just one more thing/option for the Mustang!

I agree with most of your wish-list items, and have two more to add:

1. A frikkin' trunk cargo net.
2. "Leather seats" that are really leather, and not an 80/20 vinyl/leather blend.

BTW...does this bug anyone else?
I paid for "leather seats" thinking that I was getting just that.
Nowhere in the catalog does it mention anything about vinyl.
Now I find out that the only leather used is on the top seat surfaces on the front seats.
And the leather is cheap to boot.
I feel ripped off.
Poo, Ford. Just plain poo. :notnice:

1) moonroof
2) aux jack on shaker 1000
3) heated seats
4) power SEATBACK, power passenger seat, memory seats, seatback release that goes back to where it came from
5) trunk cargo net
6) integrated key/fob
7) trunk release button from inside car
8) homelink somewhere
9) MyColor that changes all the dash lights - if not, at least make the dash for IUP cars have white backlight so they match all color settings

there's more, but i have to be resonable, right??
