Keypad entry can be purchased at your local Ford dealer...

Yeah, if you don't mind STICKING it to the door with double sided tape..... :notnice:

Hey...saw a lady with an 05 V6...she mounted it on the cowl....in front of the wiper blades...I checked mine and there' enough room to double stick an uzi there. There is a large vertical flat area right in front of the wiper blades (where the back of the hood ends)...

Hmmmmm

Jay...

Aftermarket taillight frames, in chrome, black or body color.

And an aftermarket hood that looks nice and doesn't cost an additional $2K to get it to fit right.

Mostly the handle... I'm not a big fan of the arc in it. It would be nice if they kept it straight with out the bend. I don't remember were but I actually saw an E-Brake on the left side of the drivers seat on the floor. It was a really short handle that didn't get in the way of anything even when engaged. Of course you might forget it was on!

#2 Bluetooth (hands free use for cell over the radio)
#3 Aluminum Intake Cover
#4 Power Adjustable Pedals
#5 Trunk Button in the Glovebox
#6 Factory option for Heated/Cooled seats
#7 MyColor SEPERATE from IUP (okay not really something to add, just change)
#8 No more spinach for the radio! Factory systems are so painfully bland but it's good enough to keep around. Go hookup with Pioneer or someone and get a real display.
#9 More color options for leather! I want blue leather!
#10 Replace the blinker, windshield controls, and e-brake with something that actually looks good!

That's about it here

Of course half this list is the reason why we have something called "aftermarket"

I really do think some automakers should take a lesson from the new kid on the block Scion. One nice thing about that car is they have nearly 30 or 40 different options you can use to customize your car. Most the options are installed and the distribution point then delivered to the dealership. Not all of us can drop $5k after we spend $20k to $30k for a brand new car... It would be nice to have some options you can roll into the loan if necessary.

Aftermarket....is there anything you can't get aftermarket?

How about a soft server ice cream machine? I'd never have to leave the garage.

A hard-top for the convertible!! I cant believe Ford has never made one available as an option . If they did I would consider the new 05 vert but I believe that the way they are now they loose that retro look. Not as good looking as the coupes are with the top up.

I'd like to see something to put over the tailights, perhaps black to fit in the seams.

Is that little square thing that looks like a bunch of clowns should pile out of it when the doors open?

I saw a GT at the gas station the other day with a retractable sun roof.

Tire pressure regulator.
Electric/Gas Hybrid option.
Diesel option.
6 speed option.
Push button all wheel drive option.
Shaved door handles, with remote start and entry.

That should do it.

I'd like to see some nice shift levers for the auto. Nothing flashy, I'd be happy with just a billit replica of the stock one, the IUP makes it look better but it's not aluminum trim on the lever but silver plastic. Would also like to find aluminum e-brake trim piece.

I'd like to replace the GT badge on the fender with turn signal light like the Jag and Austin Martian. I also like to have the V6 pony badge in back instead of the GT. I know it’s a GT no one else has to.

Then I like to have a power passenger seat with side air bags.

Someone else said about the port on the shaker but I’ll second that.

Adjustable pedals like the 1962 Mustang prototype (43 years is long enough wait).

I wondering about side airbags for the rear seats, I’m not sure it anyone that would fit back there could make use of them.

Finger print lock for center counsel compartment.

A diesel Mustang? The world is not ready for that (I hope).

Tasteful aluminum & carbon fiber e-brake handle replacement or cover, pre-production intake cover, replacement rear medallion that is either small enough or large enough so that the keyhole is not part of the design, and I want it to be billet aluminum with black allen bolts around the circumference and my choice of badges in the center
