Wet Carpet not TSB 07-14-6

Just thought I'd share.

I asked a while back about the passengers side floor being wet... I was directed to this:

Turns out I had some of the same symptoms, yet a different problem.

My problem ended up being the trough under the windshield wipers overflowing into the climate control intake because the trough drains were clogged with pine needles.

That's what they told me anyway. I took the car in for the warrantee repair, it ended up costing me ~$100.00.

If you're having issues, give those drains a check. It only takes a few minutes. They are on the firewall in the engine compartment just aft of the valve covers.

Thanks for the link. This could be related to water shorting out the SJB as well. Quality is apparently not Job #1.
