I just got done at the gym, and can barely drive because my legs feel like Jello. Have to fill up with gas, so I leave the keys in the center console since I have no pockets in my shorts. After I start the gas going, I decide to check the oil. Pop the hood, leave the door open, and squeeze between it and the pump. Check the oil, all is well, throw the towel away, and make my way back to the rear of the car to put the nozzle away.
As I'm squeezing between the door and the gas pump, my left leg decides it's tired of supporting my weight and momentarily gives out. BANG, my knee hits the back fender in front of the wheel. Hmmm, I look down, sure enough, there's a ding about the size of a half dollar. :bang:
Well, I've been looking for an excuse to have the paintless dent repair done on the ding above the rear wheel well from some bonehead who dinged it the first 2 weeks I owned the car. I guess having 2 dings within 12 inches of one another is a good enough reason huh?
I'm embarrassed and I feel like a moron, so I figured I come to the Internet and tell everyone about it. See, I am a moron...

sorry to hear that Sean as we all know "Stuff" happens. I am sure they will be able to fix it up nicely for you and you wont ever know it was there.

At least you got a good workout, Sean! ![Biggrinjester](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)
How's the knee?
If you get the paintless dent repair guys to pay you a visit, be sure to post before and after pix so we can see their work. They worked miracles on BMWs and Mercedes at a dealership I worked at years ago.

i have a similiar story.the other day i got out of my car and closed it too lightly.the door was closed but not closed all the way.meaning about a half inch of the door was not totally securely closed but the door was locked nonetheless.instead of unlocking i decided to bump it with my butt. and look down to a nice ding in my door.i deserved it for hitting it myself but didnt think it would happen.
if my door lock wasnt busted i would have to anyway but thats another story

I've head that some paintless dent repairs require drilling holes in inside panels that have no acess to get tools into repair area, hope this not the cse with yours
paintless dent repair is like an art, so make sure you go to someone with some time under there belt
try going to a high end luxury car dealer and ask who they use, the guy will likley come to you as they may work out of a van
