I'm with Bob on that one. Ordered a week after the bank opened and the car was built the first week of production.

It was a great feeling having an '07 when the wall calendar still said June '06.

I'll see where things are at when the '08 order guide comes out (~ 4/14, right?). If I'm still clean/unscheduled, then I might make the switch. I do like the idea of having one at the beginning of the year, rather than the end.

Clean/Unscheduled means that nothing (car, options, etc.) that has been ordered is an issue but it is controlled by allocation (dealer issue) and/or commodity (parts issue) constraints. Therefore the car is not scheduled, there is no VIN, and the car may never be built. :-( I would agree, either start calling around, searching the web, for a car you want, or wait for the 08. In most states a dealer can not hold your deposit BTW!

As of yesterday, it's been serialized, so I guess we're good to go!

Those things are tight, I ordered three GT-500's last week and nav was a no-go for them.

That jives with what I was told out here, too. In fact, word I got was that NAV may be dropped for '08 Mustangs altogether due to the shortage.
