Thanks to ISELLFORD for helping me track down how to get my X-plan PIN and everyone else for posting so I had 10x more knowledge than the salesman.

I do have one question though. On my VOC, I got them to change my priority number from 30, to 20, and then finally to 10. After it was ordered, they printed me out a VOC and it shows priority of 10. Will the DORA confirm this number? Thanks.

Congrats on your order, picking mine up on saturday. This place does help keep you informed and sane. I don't remember if the Priority # is on the DORA or not but if it was sent with that # thats what it is, don't worry about that.

 

It is my understanding (I could be wrong on this) that your priority # could be changed again later by the dealer. One of the good Ford salespeople can confirm or correct on this issue.

 

Through my employer. It was heck tracking down the partner code. My company tried to give me their Ford Fleet number, but that doesn't work. Apparently no one here ever cashes in or knows about their X-plans.

They said at earliest mid-October, and latest being late-November. From the waits i've read about in here, i'll be happy if it's my garage in time for x-mas. I'm the only one with an 06 on order so far, other than thier unsold allotment. I'm also the first Tungsten they'll be getting.

 

Yeah I would bet most people that can get X plans through there work don't know about it. My wifes cousin can get them through her work and with in one day I had a partner code for me....but then I found out only the employee or the spouse can use that x plan # so I was foiled yet again lol. I even went as far as to find out how I can get my company in the partnership program but we don't quite meet the criteria.

Thats about the wait I was thinking....thats why I cant wait for a X plan # any longer lol...I already have one heck of a wait :bang:

 

Yes priority code should be on your DORA.
I was lucky when I went to call Goodyear to retrieve the partner code, the girl in Human Resources just happened to look into it for buying her chevy so where to get the info for Ford was fresh in her mind.

I ordered mine on 8/6/05. I just emailed the sales manager and he said he doesn't think they will qualify for one until Sept-Oct and I won't see it until Dec-Jan. He is a friend of our local Mustang club and the only one I could get to take my x plan.

Oh well. I guess I really couldn't do much with it here with the Michigan winters, until spring anyway. The car will not be a daily driver, so I don't need it. I can draw some interest off the money I got for my 66 and I'll be able to do more with the new one.


Any word on the 18" chrome bullits? If i'm waiting anyway, I might as well just get what I wanted.
