Well, the fact that they're moving ahead with IUP is certainly good news. I ordered on December 30, 2004, and I'll wait it out (hopefully not until December, 2005!). I don't care a bit about "My Color," but I gotta have the guages and the brushed aluminum, etc! I sold my '67 yesterday to get the '05 and my '67 had the deluxe interior with lots of brushed aluminum and I love it!

 

it won't make that much difference on resale...iup or not

Gosh the way everyone is talking not sure I want to order with IUP next monday. Not unless I could get it by may or early june.

Do we know how far back the backlog goes? I ordered Nov. 23 and am still clean & unscheduled but I know there have been people who ordered after me (with IUP)and have VIN numbers.

 

If they have not shown you their allocations, I would worry! It happened with my order!

Keep in mind, only 18% are going to get them this week. It is good news that it didn't stopped all together but remember it is still going to be a very slow go for a while.

Be patient, they will come and as Sixty-Six can tell you it IS worth the wait.

Dealer called yesterday says status changed to bucked with IUP,gave me an eta of Feb 3! Silver GT with Auto, IUP, shaker1000,and uprade wheels. Hope it gets here soon.

 

The VOPC line still says as of 12-9 my unit is scheduled to be built week of 1-24. So with this news it is looking good hopefully. Of course all fingers and toes are still and will be crossed until it is build!!

 

As stated in previous threads, a BIG THANKS for your weekly report. Maybe, just maybe, the estimated build week I have will hold true.

 

man i sure hope i am one of the 18% ....just waiting for anything at this point been waiting since Oct.

Do you know if how long somone has been waiting has any bearing what-so-ever on who's order gets pulled first.
Or is it random? (other than pulling "like" vehicles in order to build them together)
