2006 Brochures gives these measurements...
GT: 12.4" in front, 11.8" in rear
V6: 11.5" in front, 11.8" in rear
Anyone know the sizes on the 2005?

He didn't say anything about different sized rotors but they might be different as well.
Don't see any difference in rotors or calipers just by comparing Ford's own specs on the 2005 and 2006.
Or unless Ford's own brochures and Press Releases are incorrect, the part number change may just account for a materials change or some other minor change in it's build or manufacturibg that did not effect the size.
These are the specs for both 2005 and 2006:
GT: 12.4" x 30mm in front, 11.8" x 19mm in rear
Front Calipers - Twin Piston 43mm Floating Aluminum Caliper
Rear Calipers - Single Piston 43mm Floating Iron Caliper
V6: 11.5" x 30mm in front, 11.8" x 19 mm in rear
Front Calipers - Twin Piston 43mm Floating Aluminum Caliper
Rear Calipers - Single Piston 43mm Floating Iron Caliper

My uncle has a 2005 GT, so next time I see him, I'll have to see if there are any noticable visual differences. I am in Louisville, KY, but my car is also a 2006.

UPDATE.
Due to Component Shortages Ford is Using 3 vendors to Manufacture the 06 Brake Calipers. Due to Production Variances the calipers have Different Design Tolerances. So wheels that Barely fit on one Car may not clear on another. This could also cause a problem in the Future IF the 05 caliper Part Number Superceeds to an 06 Part Number. So If you had a Tight Fitting Wheel on your 05 and had to use a Replacement Caliper in may not clear. FYI I will post if any further Info is available.

That's real interesting. I have a 2006 GT and I noticed how close the front rotors are to the wheel. They have at the most 3/8" clearence between the caliper and the rim.

Just Kidding of course
