Also, the Saturday following this event is the Woodward Dream Cruise
Yeah, I don't know why they don't have this event on Friday, then I'd just hit a bar out there, spend the night, and check out the cruise the next morning.

11 am in Cincy !! Woot Woot ! It is going to be interesting to see what Ford has set up. I was able to run my Cobra at KMS a couple of years ago. 15 laps.

Unless you're watching, then that's kinda fun to watch as well. It's like cowboys trying to corral tons of stampeding ponies.

Just registered for the LA event. Can't wait. Anyone else in LA?
I'm in the central valley but I'll be making the drive down there. I wouldn't pass up an opportunity to drive the Mustang even if it means I miss the first day of school (which I will!)

I'm signed up for the racing in Cinci at 11:00am! Will I see anyone there?
I signed up for Cinci at 12:30 with my guest at the same time , I wonder how this works? Ive never driven rear drive before so that should be interesting. But I drive a ContourSVT now so Im not a total newbie to performance. I just dont understand how I could sign up so quick and it not cost anything , maybe theyre just harvesting information

PS- Now Im pretty excited for this thing. Kentucky Speedway is a Nascar track , so hopefully that means full throttle runs. Or at least a cone course.

Hahaha Yup

2 of my buddies from here are going at 10am and they were bugging me to chage time slots so we can hang out and grab some grub.

You can still be the question asker.. I'll forget everything, I'll be more concerned with how hard they'll let me drive it and if it's an auto or manual... cuz I just learned how to drive manual last summer and have only done that like 4 times since then bawhahaha.. mmmmmm smell that clutch

I'm gonna be pissed if I have to drive an auto. You cannot gauge performance while driving an auto. I learned to shift manual (on a motorcycle) before I could drive a car, so let's just say I'm very biased against autos.

As a slight aside, I hope I get to meet one of the famous S197 spy photographers when I am in Detroit. I plan to be with the Mach 1 and Bullitt clubs at Mustang Alley on Friday and Saturday.

Will you be wearing your racing helmet ?

Hahaha.. no, no helmet.. had to return it to the friend I barrowed it from.

I'll be up there with people from Tri-StateMuscle at this Dr.s office.. I think it's near 11 mile. I'd like to be at Mustang Alley, but dunno anyone from my group that'll be there. The guys from MotownMuscle will be at the huge lot off of 13 mile.

I'll probably hop on those free buses, like last year, and see what all there is.

Probably be in Livonia on Friday night.. I'll try my best to convince the guys to do some "cruising" before the event

I'll PM you my cell # once it gets closer
