From Buckwheat Racing

"Well, a lot has changed since last season for the Buckwheat racing team. We have a new car being built at Mike Duffy's magic shop, a 2005 Mustang. Mr. Mark Robinson from Ford Racing Technology helped with the new 2005 Mustang body. Ford Racing has offered all their support along with the help of Mr. Thomas Vaught Boosted Engine Design Engineer. We plan on having the new car on the racetrack in 2005.

We have made some major changes to our racing program. We have signed a two year sponsorship with VORTECH SUPERCHARGERS. Vortech has stepped up to the plate with a state of the art supercharger that is second to none in the industry. Mr. Jim Middlebrook, CEO of Vortech, has been working for over three years to engineer this race supercharger for battle. Vortech released to the race world the new super street outlaw race team at the PRI show in December of 2004. We all look forward to the upcoming season. "

I think it's great to see Ford Racing and Vortech Superchargers sponsor a race effort of this magnitude. This team will feature some of the top names in the industry:
Mike Duffy Race Cars
Chassis Builder

Carlo 'Mr .400' Catalanotto
Driver

Ronnie Crawford
Engine Builder

Mike Murillo
Fuel Injection Specialist

I can't wait to see this car in NMRA Outlaw, This is a low 7/High 6 second class. Good luck to the Buckwheat crew.

I heard the Vortech 2005 Mustang GT kit will be shipping soon, and that Vortech is now taking pre-orders.
