A week ago, I my status is "scheduled to be built Feb 28th". When are you supposed to get your VIN? I have seen some posts that look like the VIN was issued more or less concurrently with the scheduled build date. Is this correct? How do you find out your VIN? Does the 800 number tell you, the dealer tell you, or ???????

Any comments would be appreciated.

You are issued a VIN a day or so after the issue of a build week. That nasty automated computer lady can't tell you the VIN. You can get that from the dealer if he pulls a status on the car.

 

I ordered my car on October 20 and picked up my DORA and VIN on November 4, then the car was on a TEMP DELAY until December when the car was scheduled for build week of December 13
