My wife is 4' - 11". She can drive since the seat is adjustable. But as far as being a passeneger. She tells me that she can hardly see the car in front of us at a stop light. She does not complain though.

The best solution for this is having your wife sit on my lap in the car. She shouldn't have a problem seeing then. Just kidding.

I'm 5'1" and can see fine. She just needs to adjust her seating. Or go steal a booster chair from Denny's.

The passenger seat does NOT adjust in height. This was a complaint since the cars first came out. The passenger seat IS very low.

Why would you want the passenger to see? They can't criticize what they can't see.

It would appear... At least if you want to drive a Mustang it was engineered for about 5'6" to 6'2" or so.

In my 1993 Mustang the seats were bolted thru the floor pan...
Maybe longer bolt could be used with say a one/two-inch tube spacer?

The passenger side would then be always one/two inches higher than stock....

Or maybe just use a "whoopee" cushion

I am going to check with my neighbour , who is an engineer for a German company that make seat adjuster hardware . He worked on the 500, Freestyle, maybe he'll have a solution for the more sensitive of us who like living with a happy spouse. BTW those who don't care had better not forget Valentine's Day!!!!

Valentine's Day?

Or do you mean Rudolph Valentino's birthday?

So that's why the grocery store is full of roses?

Why doesn't my housekey work anymore?

5'3" and all she complaints about is the car sits in the garage while we await the salt to wash down the drains and the frost broken roads we have everywhere here to be repaired so she can drive the darn thing. That will be the month of May.

This is One thing I noticed too, Since My Best Friend is 5'5" and His Eyes only come to about my Shoulders when he rides in My 97 Thunderbird. So I figured since the top of the Door is about at my Shoulder on the 05 that he's not gonna be able to see out of my Mustang when I get It. Not that I'd Let that stop me from Getting My Stang. LOL

This is Going to be one of the First Changes Made to the 06 I believe. I read somewhere that Ford was Aware of the Problem and Working on a Fix. I Would Imagine making a Manual Height Adjuster like the one Available on the Base/Non Power Drivers Seat Standard Equipment, would be the Logical Remedy, and Possibly a Power Passenger Seat as an Option.
