Well I have informed the woman that when we go pick up the car she will have to bring her 6 y/o step-sister's booster seat. She was less than impressed.

I sincerely hope they don't screw this car up!
I like flying with no front wheel drive crappity crap(ABS,traction control etc) And I like driving a sports car.
If I wanted all that fancy stuff I would have went brain dead and bought a SUV......
ITS A SPORTS CAR! You AINT SPOSED TO SIT UP HIGH IN IT!!!!

Traction control also is a great feature (as long as it can be turned completely off).

My wife is short also and she doesn't like the passenger seat because its so low,she road around the block in a neighboers Mustang. She uses that as a reason not to ride in mine.I have had the car over three months and she's never ridden in it,not complaining just stating the facts.

ABS is not "front wheel drive crappity crap". ABS is a good thing that might save your life or your car one day. You'll find it on many exotics.

Been there, done that- over it.
Drove a looooooooooong line of boring Front wheel drive traction control cars.....I like driving this one LOTS better. I control the car, the car doesn't control me.

In my 1993 Mustang the seats were bolted thru the floor pan...
Maybe longer bolt could be used with say a one/two-inch tube spacer?
The passenger side would then be always one/two inches higher than stock....

Actually those things keep you in control of your vehicle. I hit black ice in my '94 Mustang and it caused me to spin completely around facing the wrong direction on the highway, at that point the car was controlling me, not me controlling the car.

my girl is 5'2", I hope she can see out of it
This might be a good thing too if nobody can see her leaning over the center console either

ANy changes made to how the seat is attached to the floor are basically illegal
a nd could lead liability problems, like loss of insurance coverage etc. This according to a person who engineers seat adjusting systems . It looks like a cushion or pillow is about the only thing to use to boost the passenger's height in the seat. Thats what happens now when I drive her 03 convertible.
