I live in Phoenix too, and the other day I saw something driving down the road that looked like some type of Mustang test vehicle. I am not sure though, because the whole thing had that black cloak over it that they so like to put on cars that they are testing. A lot of the car companies testing grounds are out here in Arizona, because we have so much open desert to put stuff like that out here. I will definately keep my eyes peeled for anymore sightings.

Yeah, Ford owns a test facility out there... can't remember the name of the proving grounds... but it's where they do their endurance testing.

 

If it were black cloaked, it was probably the real deal. They wouldn't have any reason to cover up the mules that have been seen already.

 

That one almost look exactly like the Roush Mustang.

Yup... it's still a test mule though. The one I took was a black test mule... Brenda Priddy took the Torch Red one and this one looks like redfire.. and the first time we see it with a color coded hood.

When I return to Michigan (I'm in Houston right now) I'll be back on the trail. A month back I saw another odd mule.. didn't look like these.

If you blow up the video of the front wheel, you can see big 4 piston calipers, similiar to the upgraded alcon calipers that come on the Saleens.....

 

I got motion sickness watching the video.

 

Well if that is the Cobra I am glad I didnt wait to get it because it looks no different or better than GT. It might have some more power but what would you do with it unless your gonna be at the tracks everyday. I think our GT has more power than we can use to begin with.
