Vibration found in 05 Mustang
#22
I don't buy this. If this was an 05, it most likely had to be a preproduction (I mean, how many production 05 have been delivered?) and if it was, I can't imagine that a driveshaft problem would be handled anywhere but inside Ford. If it was a customer car why would someone with a brand new mustang take it anywhere but the dealership? Besides, how would a mechanic in a shop know that "Ford was having problems"???? ahhhh, fooey.

BON's headline will be "Ford has stop production on all 2005 Mustangs due to a Axle defect which could possibly Explode into thousand of razor sharp killer androids"

Yeah, if Ford is soo hush hush about everything, why would that take it outside with problems.
Wait till BON gets a hold of this tid-bit.

I love sometimes how when these threads of Apocalyptic 2005 Mustang Recalls last longer than 2 posts, people actually start supporting the obviously wacky title... let me add it to it since Seinfeld isn't on for 3 more hours...
"I sure hope this vibration doesn't cause a delay in my GT's production! I am terrified!! Note the extra exclamation point -- that's how truly terrified I am of these vibrations which must be true because you said they are. I also believe all mechanics, especially one in Hokeyville who has the first 2005 Mustang and whaddya know -- it's broken."

Since I'm waiting on a rag top, if this is a problem, it should be fixed before mine is delivered.

Actually, I wouldn't discredit this too quicly. I knew of several Mustang drivers experiencing vibration. Fortunately, if it is the driveshaft, all you need to do is tighten the bolts down there really tight. I know because it's happened to me twice.

I discredited it before I reached the halfway point of the post, it was most likely a 'new' as in 03 mustang.

When people ask me what I'm doing at work, and they don't work for the company, I always throw them a curveball... it's fun
"Hmm, oh, that 05? Yeah, Ford has licensed us to build them cuz AAI can't put out enough..."
