Veteran creates Barracade
A Las Vegas Iraq veteran came home made his 07 Mustang look like Barracade from Transformers for his 7 year old son.

Last time I saw the movie, I seem to remember Barracade not having Black Bullit wheels with spinners. Still cool though, but I think it's a bit of waste of a good mustang.

"Law enforcement agencies say what he's done with his car isn't illegal as long as he doesn't act like a police officer....He said he called the district attorney's office beforehand and spoke to Chief Deputy District Attorney Joe Ulibarri, who tried to discourage his decorating scheme but couldn't find anything in the law that would stop Vigil as long as he didn't impersonate an officer."
SO I do not think he going to get pulled over and ticketed for anything. it is perfectly legal where he is located. Also I do not think it is a waste of a mustang if it something a father is doing to make for lost time with his son, and to make him happy.

My 7 year old son has asked me a zillion times why we can't paint our mustang up to look like Barracade. He's a Transformers freak! I think Barracade is cool, but I'm not gonna clone one. It would remind me too much of being at work.

I SAW THIS REPORT AGAIN TODAY IN THE MORNING NEWS. THEY DID A BIG STORY ON IT a month or so ago on the evening news. I think he was from New Mexico and he was getting heat from the Police Cheif for the appearance is too much of a police impersonation. He did a decent job. One of our friends from STANGPEDE had his car done officially to look like Barricade for the SAN DIEGO auto show. At the show he had a light bar but it was removed to be driven on the streets and on the doors, instead of reading police, it reads Saleen. It looks really cool. Ill posta pic up in a bit.
