Thinking of ordering an '06 vert. How much wind noise can I expect at hwy speeds? (with everything buttoned up) I don't want to hear wind swooshing when I'm not in topless mode. Is there only on window swith for both the back windows?

You're correct on the single switch for both rear windows.
As for noise levels? I understand since the top is insulated that noise is lower than what many folks remember convertibles to be like. But what is too loud is subjective.
I recommend a test drive!

I test drove a GT vert earlier this year and posted a test drive report. I really was amazed at how much more noisy it was than my 02 GT coupe, even when just sitting in it in the parking lot. It's still a great car though and I'm going to order one this winter. If you're interested in one, just don't expect it to be quiet.

IMO the cars pretty good. Its no F150 (super quiet) or Town Car, but remember, it’s a muscle car! You wouldn’t want it to handle and float on air like a town car? The coupe should always be a little quieter then a vert. If it matters, I would never complain about the noise in the coupe, in fact, it really never crossed my mind. Just get the shaker 500 or 1000 to make the car really quiet!

I was a bit concerned about the one switch as well, but now that I have lived with it, i LOVE it. When I want all windows down I just hit the Auto fronts and hold one button down for the backs. Up is even better. It would be a pain to try to get 2 switches working together.
I drive with my windows down all the time as well, and there hasn't really been an issue with having both rear windows on one swith.

I think there is more wind noise than the coupe but not alot more. It is a quieter vert, windnoise wise, than previous verts. The pipes are actually louder than the wind, which is a good thing of course.
