Valentine's Day Present
Well my dealer called me at work today at 8:30AM. My car's in. It was snowing when he called so I'm naming her "Snowfire". Snow changed to rain all day so I'll be taking off work tomorrow to pick her up. Won't be able to take pics yet as the weather's gonna be gloomy for about a week, though tomorrow should be clear & in the 50's, but I'll be a little busy. They'll clean & prep her tonight & keep her inside. Will post back with an update as to how it all went (she should have the I.U.P.,etc.) I'll be worthless at work all day now.

Congrats. When was your build week?

I picked her up today & she is gorgeous. Hope to take pictures the 1st good weather Sunday that rolls around. Got a good spot but that's the only day there won't be any other cars parked around in the pic. She came with 4 miles on her. Blinked my eyes & there's 51. Haven't driven a stick for 16 yrs. so was busy getting re-acclimated. It came back fast. I want to plug my dealer cause they were good enough not to put their emblem on the car. Anyone in the Philadelphia area interested in this car, please see Barry Hyman at Chapman Ford (215) 698-7000.
I'm still numb from driving. Though it's only a V6, I jumped from a 3.4 to a 4.0L engine so I feel like I'm in a GT. Don't flame me, but I never did know the horse power in my Firebird, but I know it wasn't 210. When Barry drove her out to me she was flawless. Knock-on-wood there are no issues with anything, though I know it's too soon to tell. My new sig tells the story, the I.U.P. added to the wait but I always knew it'd be worth it.
