I love orange.

I bleed orange.

Rocky Top shall be sung at my funeral! (not really)

But this Valencia.... well.... one smily says it all:

The Gulf orange/white looks pretty nice though.

I dunno, there, Nick. I think once you see it in person (and no, I have not, either) I think you (and I) will be pleasantly surprised.

And I'm thinking the Dark Charcoal Metalic Le Mans stripes would do this color justice. I looked at Baltimore Street Mods' color samples... I like the DCM*.

(Not to be confused with the Aussie slang for you're fired: 'D'ont 'C'ome 'M'onday)

How bout this orange? When I was 16, I wanted one just like this, in this color. I didn't speak to my Dad for two weeks when he didn't buy it because it needed a little work.

Correct me if I am wrong, (and I am sure someone will) but isn't that color called Rangoon Red?

Close. It's Poppy Red.

No, definitely not Emberglo, I'll add a picture of it later. " Edit: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?sh...emberglo&st=140 " That car is a 64 and 1/2 or 65, and it is either Poppy or Rangoon Red, assuming that it is an original color on that car in the photograph.

DON'T SAY DEFINITELY. My old Boss sold Mustangs back in the day. When I was working on a '65 a few years ago that was a strange color (Pink) I asked him about it. He said, "Did it have a Funky Color Code"? I said "I said, "It has No Color Code, just a blank spot on the i.d. plate". He said, "Then it's probably original Pink". The owner claimed it was a Playboy Bunny Special originally given to the Playmates of the month (12 in all) special ordered in a non-production color by Hugh Hefner. Oops. I didn't realize Poppy Red wasn't a '66 color. I just assumed it was carried over from '65.
The car is definitely a '66. You can tell be the grille and the wheels.

I'm going to have to guess and say it's Signal Flare Red. Not 100% positive. '65's are my specialty.

And please, go ahead and argue, dispute, whatever. I'd rather be wrong and learn something than to be wrong and THINK I'm right.

Agreed, I am not sure of anything anymore and I am trying to watch "24". Edit: I shouldn't post when I am in a hurry, now, I believe the car is a 66, not sure of the color, dare I say it is not Emberglo?

I'd have to agree at this point. but, not 100%

I hope to solve the mystery soon...

Tangerine was not a good orange, leading me to believe Valencia will not be either:

Poppy Red is an absolute orange.

The '66 GT fastback above is Signalflare Red.

The '70 Boss 302 above is Calypso Coral.
