I recently bought an 06 Satin Silver GT with a factory spoiler. I love my car, not a big fan of the spoiler. Originally wanted a "clean" look but had to take the car because I was given a great deal. Would it be possible to swap out a clean SS V6 decklid with a GT decklid? I figured instead of filling the holes, paying an arm and a leg for a spoiler there probably was a Satin Silver V6 owner who may want a GT spoiler and would consider a straight swap. Is this possible? If so and anyone is interested let me know.

Yes exactly the same... this is what the dealer did on my car as it was ordered with a spoiler but wasn't supposed to have been.

at least you americans get the option...in cdn the V6's come with a wingy...no delete option :-(

Called a couple local dealers here and they told me they would be gracoius enough to swap out a V6 with the GT because they though the spoiler would be a selling point. No v6's in stock now but hopefully some on the way. In the mean time if anyone wants to swap out locally let me know.
