Those are good-looking wheels, but I feel the car should be dropped a bit to close the gap up.

Jeez that thing must ride pretty hard with those super low profile tires!

Too bad they don't tell you who makes those rims. The profile is too low for my taste. A bit ricey.

The wheels are too big IMO. Maybe some 17 or 18 inch wheels. Something retro to match the style of the car.......

It's not going to ride that much harder with just lower tires. Now lowering this thing, that's gonna make it hard! And it needs to be lowered because like this it looks plain stupid.

I'll take the 18's with stock suspension over that any day.

i think all '05 mustangs should be lowered a little bit. they have such a huge wheel well it looks ridiculous. it has a stance of a truck!

IMO 20's are too big for this car.

It is still a phenomenal improvement over the gaps on the 94-04's

As the Black Eyed Peas say...."let's get retarded". I will not be going any larger than 18's on my GT. I don't think I will be lowering this one at all, just getting tires that fill the gap in more a bit.

yeah, too tall. and lowering it enoguh to look right will prob kill the handling. looks like an explorer's road clearance! nice wheels though

I have sat and stared at the new mustang, and it's factory tire/wheel combo vs. wheel opening......and I don't get what alot of you are looking at (too much gap)??? It looks perfect, stock-outta-the-box.....and consistent in appearance with the muscle car era it embraces. Maybe an 18" rim for modern cosmetics, but I don't see any issues at all with the height of the tire as is, IMO. B)

That looks lame.
It would look good dropped though (like Saleen using 20's). Definitely not the old-school muscle car look, but good looking none-the-less.

Now, the 22s on the 3DCarbon car -- THOSE are too big.

19" wheels are the max size for the S197. Anything bigger just looks silly.

you guys crack me up, the majority went absolutely gaga over the BFGoodrich ad with the bonspeed delta's. Newsflash, those were 20s.

20s are the new 18s
