I wish. But it doesn't look like it's an option. I would ask a couple dealers or even call the Customer Service Relations Center though just to be sure. Of course you could always order the Stang w/o the Exterior Sport Package & save your $300 from that to purchase an aftermarket spoiler. Then you would have a spoiler & no strip. Or go ahead & pay for the Exterior Sport Package & then remove the stripe after you take delivery. That's probably the route I will go. But hey it's your choice.

Good luck. And welcome.

Just remove them yourself, that what i'm planning on doing. Or ask the dealer to do it.

If you really don't like the stripes, have them peeled off before you take the car off of the lot. If they are anything like the stripes that have come on V6 mustangs before, they are easy to get off. My 2002 came with the "pony package" but I got sick of the running horse stripe along the bottom of my car. All I needed was some fingernails and a little dedication and they came right off.

Can you do that with out damaging the paint??? I have one more problem, I own a Chevy now and ever since i seen the 05 in a mag a couple of months ago i can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't think of anything else but this car. As soon as i win the lottery the first thing i'm gonna do is end this madness and get me one.

When fresh, they do come off easilly, you can use a little heat VERY carefully from a heat gun or a hair dryer will do fine without worrying about damage. You can remove any loose glue with wax, or with a soft t-shirt and some mineral spirits if its a little stubborn.
